The Bunbury Webster Spinners are a friendly group welcoming anyone who would like to learn or improve your spinning.
We share the love of playing with all sorts of fibre, wool, alpaca, flax, cotton, silk, rag and anything else we can get our hands on. With the use of the age old craft of the Spinning Wheel we create beautiful garments and items of interest.
Our group experiments with both natural and acid wool dying and have a large collection of natural dye samples.
Our craft takes us to numerous local events and our garments are on show during the Stirling Street Arts Centre’s Annual Members Exhibition.
The Bunbury Webster Spinning Group originated from the Creative Arts Guild in Bunbury in 1972 and was officially formed in 1979 and still meets today at the Stirling Street Arts Centre
The group welcomes and encourages new members.
