The Paper Meddlers

We are a group of like-minded people who love everything about paper. The look, feel and sound of paper in its many different forms.

We are into recycling our magazines, old books, paper bags, cardboard boxes and more. Members with a large stash of goodies are happy to share with the group and reduce the need to buy things that may only be used once.

We explore making paper, dyeing and marbling paper. Altered books and creating book sculptures. Making/altering books for art journals, gratitude journals and good old fashioned scrap books. We sew, burn, weave, gelli print and manipulate paper for new purposes.

The aim is to have fun, try out new things and revisit things we loved doing in the past.

We meet the 2nd  and 4th Saturdays each month at SSAC in Studio 4 from 9.30am to 3pm.

New members are welcome no matter what their level of experience is.
