Term 3 begins

Winter workshops

Warm up with these winter warmers, get moving with Swing Dance! For beginners or intermediate alike.

Or why not try your hand at painting? For something a little more casual, Blooming Arts will get you started working on canvas or paper. From abstract to realism, Judy has many years of experience to guide you along. Sarah McBride has a great eye for realism and colour mixing in STAT3 Painting with Oils or Acrylics : Florals in a structured 6 week course.

If you’re after something more drawing focused, then we have Foundations of Drawing to learn how to draw from still life, and beyond. Or get creative with your writing and join Andrew Frazer for Hand Lettering

Rhonda is back this term for her sewing workshops with Learn to Sew and Garment Pattern Making, to learn how to make your own garments.

And for those who don’t mind getting a bit muddy, Pottery Throwing (wheelwork) and Intro to Pottery is for you! Learn the basics in these techniques and create functional pieces, or just something gorgeous for you to admire.

There’s also another printmaking workshop from our resident printmaker, Sue Dennis in Woodblock Printmaking. Sue will take you on a journey through carving out a woodblock and creating prints through the press.

All our workshops are taught be experienced tutors, and give you a real sense of achievement. You’ll take home a project completed by the end of each workshops or course.
