Our main aim is to have fun and try new things. We have tried dying wool, weaving with material, raffia and wool to make baskets and mats. Knitted or crocheted tartans rugs, shawls and more. There are several knitting machines set up for members to use.
Our group supports various community groups by donations of knee rugs, beanies and mittens, baby blankets and lovies. We also hold a Community Knit/Crochet Day once a year to support local community groups. Members contribute to Open Days, Craft Fairs and sell items through the Gallery Shop.
New members are welcome no matter what their level of experience is.
We meet every Tuesday between 9am and 3pm.

“We are the crafters of yarn and all things stringy,
We use crochet hooks, knitting needles, knitting machines to create items of unique beauty,
There are scarves, beanies, mittens, jumpers and the like,
All crafted with the newest and fashionable yarns,
Recycling is the game for bowls, baskets and bags all in many shapes and sizes,
That dress or shirt no longer needed, in our skillful fingers takes on a new and useful life.”
